New Trustees join Give Us Time!

We are delighted to welcome TWO new trustees to the charity.

Steph Taylor brings over a decade of experience from high performance environments, having served as a former Officer in the Royal Air Force before stepping into senior leadership roles in both consulting and financial services.

Her early career included command of 250 engineers and operational deployments across Africa and the Middle East.  Leaving the Military she then transitioned into Financial services where as Chief of Staff she supports global trading desks deliver through complexity and change.  Leveraging her experience in both sectors she founded a Coaching company working with senior and high potential individuals to reach their potential – ‘Are you where you want to be, what do we need to plan to get you there?!’ being her opening mantra with all new clients!

Outside of work she spends time with her husband, two young children and a lively spaniel in the South East.

“It is a privilege to be asked to join ‘Give Us Time’ as a Trustee.  I am ex-military and a parent, so I know first-hand the struggles both individually present let alone a combination of the two! I also totally understand the need to look after the family unit as a whole, and this is why this Charity is so unique in it’s approach.  I’m very excited to start planning for the year – anyone in my network who wants to be involved and provide support please reach out!  We all have a sphere of influence, let’s make sure we use that for something good!”

Scott Robinson is a former Army officer, who deployed on ops in Afghanistan, and supported the training and development of initial Army recruits. He is currently a Reservist based in London and works in the travel and tourism sector as a short haul airline pilot, flying to destinations across Europe and Africa. As a husband and dad to three young children, Scott understands the challenges of managing Army Reserve life against family and civilian work commitments.
“I am delighted to join Give Us Time as a trustee. This is a charity that is close to my heart. As a British Army Veteran and now Reservist, I have seen first hand the challenges faced by our brilliant service people who carry out their roles away from home both in the UK and abroad. This often impacts not only those serving, but also their families who are left to continue facing daily challenges and stressors whilst their loved ones are away.
“Having wanted to contribute to charitable work for some time, the opportunity to do so in an environment I understand well is something I very much look forward to. I hope to add value through my professional experiences both as a service person and working in the travel and tourism sector.”

Welcome to the team!
