Poppyscotland – Corporate Fundraiser

Contract: Permanent, Full Time, 35 hours per week

Salary: £33,250 per annum pro rata

We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Fundraiser to work with our Head of Fundraising and Learning to assist in the implementation and delivery of the Fundraising Department Strategy.

You will assist with developing, implementing and monitoring the Corporate fundraising operational plan achieving financial targets and Key Performance Indicators, as we as, promoting excellence in donor stewardship which motivates and inspires individuals, groups, and local business to maximise giving.

If successful you will be responsible or:

  • To develop, implement and monitor effective corporate partnership plans ensuring the objectives of both corporate partners and Poppyscotland are met.
  • To manage the delivery of key corporate fundraising activities.
  • To act as account manager for all Poppyscotland corporate partnerships.
  • To seek out and maximise all networking opportunities to build relationships with existing and potential key corporate partners.
  • To develop and maintain knowledge of Scotland’s corporate sector ensuring all fundraising opportunities are maximised.
  • To work closely with other fundraising functions (in particular the Poppy Appeal), to establish and deliver appropriate corporate support for those functions.
  • To develop and maintain a range of corporate fundraising products and materials
  • To work closely and in conjunction with the Royal British Legion Corporate Partnerships Team in the development and delivery of UK-wide corporate partnerships.

Please note that the job will require some evening and week-end work including some overnight stays. Flexibility with working hours and travel is required.
