i am inclined to agree with you. I actually think the primary source should be the website which more logically can display news as it comes in. The newsletters i am afraid i quickly scan as so little is relevant to me. I know the newsletter makes COBSEO feel they are doing all they can to keep members informed however i am not sure it is that effective.

I take it that the lack of response is either an indication that the website and these forums are not catching on or no one cares about the subject!

I did put the subject up to see what the level of engagement would be.

Moving on we need as a group to come up with a list of we want from COBSEO

My main one at the moment is:

Ensure CRG and LIBOR fund criteria are fully aware of the work for Serving Personnel and that we are included in the criteria for funding.
Also put the argument that such funding should not be for new projects. ideally this money should support the running costs of good charities. This endless appetite for new projects suggests that what we have been doing for years is failing. If that is the case we should all pack up and go. If not we should be putting the argument and case that we are succeeding. This may also prevent the creation of endless new charities.
Our own fundraisers are partly to blame as they believe painting a bleak picture increases income! discuss….
