The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund is the RAF’s leading welfare charity, providing financial, practical and emotional support to all members of the RAF family.
We are currently recruiting for a Chief of Staff/Director of Governance with overall responsibility for providing direct staff support to the Controller. This includes acting as Company Secretary to the Fund, preparing the Fund’s Business Plan and providing support services such as Human Resources, IT and Facilities and full compliance matters.
We are looking for a Senior Management Team member with experience of developing and delivering policy and planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a senior RAF Officer (up to Group Captain) with recent RAF service (within last 5 years), and have proven ability in providing specialist advice at senior management level. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and show initiative, flair and enthusiasm for the work of the RAFBF. You will need to have a hands on approach to getting things done, be a strong motivator and a positive, engaged leader of others.
