RAFAKidz is celebrating after being named Nursery Group of the Year at this year’s Nursery World Awards.
The team were presented with the prestigious accolade at a glittering awards ceremony at The Brewery in London on 27 September.
The Nursery World Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate and recognise the achievements of organisations and individuals working in the early years sector.
In an award submission that was considered by a distinguished panel of expert judges, the RAFAKidz team was able to demonstrate how the organisation provides inspirational environments for all children, has an exemplary approach to staff development and fosters warm, supportive relationships with parents and carers.
Josie Mapes, Executive Director of RAFAKidz, said:

Created in 2019 by the RAF Association, RAFAKidz is designed to meet the needs of military and civilian families in the community around RAF stations, providing affordable and quality childcare. RAFAKidz currently manages 21 nurseries across the country.
Over the past six years, RAFAKidz has become the main provider of early years childcare to the RAF with a unique connection to the military community. RAFAKidz staff play an active role in supporting military families, enabling them to serve their country knowing their children are in safe hands.
