The Royal Air Forces Association is the charity that supports the RAF family. From an injured airman fighting to get back on his feet, to a child missing a parent working away from home, to a WWII veteran in need of companionship, the Association is there.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in frontend Web Development to join the RAF Association. The Association is currently developing its CRM system and require an experienced Web Developer to work closely with the Chief Information Officer, Business Solutions Manager and Senior Salesforce Administrator. The Web Developer is responsible for the configuration, development and system testing of frontend Web solutions for the Association. The Web Developer will be required to design appropriate solutions for new projects as they arise and are proactively identified and work alongside third parties as appropriate to deliver successful implementations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years + of frontend development experience, advanced hand coding skills with HTML5 & CSS3, skilled with Javascript & JQueryand an understanding of UX/UI principles. In addition to this, our Web developer will also have a solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and development best practices.
