Royal Star & Garter (RSG), Royal British Legion (RBL) and the Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance (VCHA) are working in partnership to develop a Veteran Friendly Framework (VFF) for residential care and nursing homes, as the next developmental phase of the VCHA Veteran Aware programme for NHS and independent healthcare providers. Initially this will be in England, but UK-wide to follow.
You will lead the development of the programme, that helps care home providers to deliver best practice in support of veterans and their families to ensure that those who have served in the Armed Forces, whether regular or reserve, and their families, can access appropriate services. The programme will be developed over two years, with a view to achieving long term sustainability.
Salary: £46,000 per annum
