SeaBot Maritime becomes Gold Level Corporate Sponsor of Reading Force, supporting tri-Service Armed Forces families

Reading Force, the UK’s only national shared-reading charity for military families, is delighted to announce its new Gold Level Corporate Sponsor SeaBot Maritime, an innovative provider of learning solutions and maritime consultancy.

Founded in 2011, Reading Force uses the power of books to put shared reading at the heart of families, whether loved ones are at home or away. The charity supports tri-service personnel – serving, reservist, and veteran families, including those separated by relationship breakdown or divorce – by encouraging them to read and chat about stories, helping to strengthen bonds and communication, especially during times apart such as deployment or geographical separation.

SeaBot Maritime was established in 2017 to provide pioneering solutions and leadership to the maritime sector, with a particular focus in maritime autonomy and remote operations. As champions of human centred digital transformation, they deliver organisational change and training to the sector, based on the principle that people should be empowered with new skills to work alongside technology when sharing tasks and decision-making, particularly in smart ship operations.

SeaBot Maritime’s sponsorship will enable Reading Force to ensure more military families across the UK, and wherever they are posted, can benefit from its support and receive free books, scrapbooks and resources. Research has consistently shown that shared reading, from an early age, helps build resilience, strengthens relationships, and helps young people to thrive.
