Navigating out of Loneliness Development Officer
Base location: Flexible, but the role will cover Powys and Ceredigion
£19,410 per annum
22.5 hours per week
Fixed term until 31 March 2023
The postholder will provide a combination of direct support, coordination, and delivery of the Navigating Out of Loneliness programme for Veterans in Mid & West Wales who are isolated and alone, enabling them to access existing community, health, and social care services. You will use your existing knowledge and expertise to identity and address a range of specific issues affecting service veterans and people with mental illness.
You will have experience of working in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders and have excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain constructive relationships with service users and carers, professional colleagues, and partners in external agencies.
Full driving licence and full access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
Welsh language skills are desirable.
