The Role

Local Responsibility – National Impact. In this interesting and varied role, you will provide support and direction on a wide range of people issues to our Regional Operations Directorate which includes Care Homes and Break Centres.

A member of CIPD, you will identify, analyse and implement solutions to sometimes complex and sensitive issues. You will support and direct the lifecycle of ER Cases and conduct partnering at all levels on correct articulation and documentation. You will evaluate and review decisions in relation to employee concerns and ensure that legal requirements are met. You will have an excellent knowledge of employment law and experience of making complex decisions.

Through co-ordination and delivery of locally relevant training, you will bring an understanding of our procedures and employee legislation. Using metrics to highlight trends and develop strategies you will meet with people managers to foster a positive approach to organisation priorities, mitigate risk and support projects as needed.

If you are experienced in balancing multiple priorities and work streams; have excellent communication skills including listening, writing and presentation; and are willing to travel with occasional overnight stays, this role may be for you. Your career will flourish, and your development will be fully supported.

You will be ideally based in our London Head Office (SE1 1AA). However, consideration will be given to one of our Area Offices: Brighton, Colchester or Southampton.
