Hours:                                   37.5 (e.g. 9-5, half hour unpaid break)

Salary:                                   Up to £37,000

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Events Manager with 3 years + experience running events including challenge events, mass participation events, third-party events and other income-generating events. Walking With The Wounded has plethora of innovative and exciting events for you to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into. We are an ambitious charity with ambitious goals. This is a dynamic role that will include a wide-range of responsibilities. The Events Manager is responsible for leading the Events team in the planning and delivery of a broad-spectrum of events including our flagship events, challenge events, business events and third-party events. Our charity is an innovative one and we also encourage new ideas and ways to generate income so we can deliver our services.

With such an array of events, an exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential in this role. The Events Manager will report directly to the Head of Income for all day-to-day activities, will have dotted line-management into two members of the fundraising team who will support with operational delivery of Events at peak times. The role will also work closely alongside the Head of Marketing and our Comms team to support each stage of content, collateral and marketing planning.

Please note that whilst this role is Homebased, there is expected travel to our regional offices, most specifically Norfolk and Manchester.
