Do you have what it takes to be part of the Walking With The Wounded team? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fundraising Assistant to support the successful delivery and growth of Walking With The Wounded’s income across its major income streams of Community Fundraising (c. 800% of role), and Corporate Relationships (c.20%). Walking With The Wounded has plethora of innovative and exciting programmes for you to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into. We are an ambitious charity with ambitious goals. If your attitude matches this, you will find a perfect home within our team of energetic fundraisers.

This is a dynamic role that will include a wide range of responsibilities. The Fundraising Assistant is responsible for supporting our community fundraisers and corporate partnerships, their events and growing our regional fundraiser base in your geographical area. This will include audience research, creating stewardship materials and work closely with Marcomms to provide compelling content and social media creation as well as relationship management.

Our charity is an innovative one and so we also encourage new ideas and ways to generate income so we can deliver our services which we expect you to feed into.

With such an array of opportunities, high attention to detail, the ability to multitask and exceptional organisation are all essential skills for this role. The Fundraising Assistant will report directly to the Community Fundraising Manager for all day-to-day activities and will be part of the Fundraising Team which is led by the Director of Income. This role will also be the fundraising point of contact for the North-West (NW) region supporting the NW Regional Manager and Director of Income where necessary with donor relations.

In return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and career as Fundraising Assistant in a supportive, inclusive environment. In this role no two days are the same and every day will bring new challenges for you to get stuck into. Please note that whilst this role can be anywhere in the UK, there is expected occasional travel to our regional offices, most specifically Norfolk and Manchester.
