Do you have what it takes to be part of the Walking With The Wounded team?
Walking With The Wounded ‘WWTW’ deliver employment, mental health, care coordination and volunteering programmes in collaboration with the NHS to get those who served, and their families, whether mentally, socially or physically wounded, back on their feet and making a positive contribution once more. Why? Because those who served, deserve.
People are what makes WWTW special. Whether that be people working directly with clients, those who help generate funding, or those in our central services teams – we all play a part in making a difference to the lives of those who have served.
Due to growth within the charity, we have on opportunity for an HR Administrator to join our team.
This is an important role for team, working in the central services function, and helping us ensure our people have the support they need to do their work, and to nurture the culture we hold so dear.
Our teams tell us our culture is one of the best: supportive, friendly, flexible, rewarding, and innovative. Our values of collaboration, empowerment and Client First drive our everyday decision making, ensuring our people can work creatively to achieve positive outcomes for our service users.
Our values of respect and integrity underpin our approach to HR. We strongly believe that in order to keep delivering for our service users, our teams must know, and feel, they are respected and valued. We do this through listening, being clear, and by being open to change.
The right candidate will join us to support with administration in our small but busy HR team. This role will suit somebody with great organisational skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to plan ahead and prioritise tasks.
Our desire to provide an exceptional employee experience is unwavering and therefore your contribution to the administration of our team will be invaluable. Being able to work effectively on multiple tasks throughout any one day will be essential in this busy role.
You will be a ‘people’ person, able to form meaningful and trusting relationships with all areas of the charity, but equally happy to work independently and use your own initiative to deal with queries and support the wider WWTW team.
Accuracy and attention to detail are vital for this role as is being a collaborative team member and an effective multitasker with excellent knowledge of Microsoft programs. Knowledge of People HR and Disclosure and Barring Service would be advantageous.
The nature of the role requires a high level of confidentiality and discretion due to the often sensitive data handled by the function and the successful individual will be expected to work within WWTW’s values, policies and procedures.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a rewarding and inspiring organisation with a supportive, inclusive and welcoming team that makes a real difference to the lives of our ex-service men and women.
