Combat Stress shortlisted for Soldiering On Award 2025

We are proud to announce that Combat Stress is a finalist at this year’s Soldiering On Awards.

The team who developed our Quality and Effectiveness Data (QED) platform, an innovative digital system enabling veterans to track their recovery progress in real time, encouraging trust, collaboration, and confidence in treatment, have been shortlisted for the Healthcare and Rehabilitation award, which honours those who have made a significant contribution to the physical or mental welfare of current or former service personnel.

Setting a new standard in trauma-informed care, our QED platform has revolutionised care delivery, with a 1,400% increase in veteran feedback submissions and thousands of hours saved in administrational time. More importantly, it puts veterans at the heart of their own healing journey, transforming how clinical decisions are made and ensuring treatment is tailored, transparent, and empowering. QED enables the impact of treatment to be visible and shared; last year 70% of veterans supported achieved recovery from PTSD.

With this work already improving lives across the Combat Stress community, there is an aspiration to share this digital innovation to transform the entire veteran mental health sector, to drive better treatment outcomes for all veterans.

Dr Naomi Wilson, Clinical Director at Combat Stress, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to be a finalist for this year’s Soldiering On Awards.

“Our nomination for the development of QED is testament to how the QED team have transformed our ability to ensure veterans are even more at the heart of their recovery journey and our ability demonstrate our life-changing treatment outcomes. We believe that we have addressed a challenge that all those across the sector face and look forward to exploring how we can support others supporting veterans to do the same.”

The winners will be formally announced on 22 October 2025. To find out more about the awards visit: Soldiering On Awards 2025 | SOA.
