Levison Wood announced as Armed Forces charity Ambassador to mark charity’s 15-year anniversary

Former British Army Officer and explorer, Levison Wood, has been announced as the official campaign Ambassador to mark Walking With The Wounded’s (WWTW) 15-year anniversary campaign. A long-standing supporter of the charity, he has pledged his support to highlight its work supporting ex-military personnel and their families.

WWTW was founded in 2010 following a high-profile expedition to the North Pole with Expedition Patron, The Duke of Sussex. Since then, the charity has grown into a national organisation supporting veterans and their families through employment, mental health and tailored wraparound care-coordination programmes. In 2025 alone, the charity helped 2,956 veterans, and the team spent 47,296 hours supporting those who served.

Commenting on the appointment, Tony Hulton, WWTW CEO, said,

“We are delighted to announce Levison Wood as the Ambassador of our 15-year anniversary campaign. He has been an incredibly supportive advocate for the charity for many years, helping to shine a light on the life-saving and life-changing work that our team delivers every day to those who served.”

Speaking about his Ambassador role, Levison Wood said,

“I am proud to support Walking With The Wounded as an Ambassador. It is an exceptional charity that recognises the challenges that some veterans face when leaving the Armed Forces, helps them to get back on track and gives them the best chance to start again. This year marks a huge milestone for the organisation, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the WWTW team. It is a privilege to help shine a spotlight on the people they support.”
