Military Wives Choirs – Special Events & Digital Engagement Assistant

This is a 12 month fixed term contract that will see a bright talent bringing their enthusiasm and passion to our team, helping us to support a unique group of women by working in line with our ethos of “Sing, Share, Support.” This role is perfect for somebody who has a keen interest in the arts seeking to take their next step in a career that may include fundraising, events management, or marketing and communications within an arts environment.

You’ll be responsible for co-ordinating choir activity at concerts, working with event locations, giving choirs promotional support in the run up to their concert, posting activity on social media, researching opportunities for concert promotion, and ensuring best practice is captured and shared across our network. Ideally, we’re looking for somebody with good communication skills; an active and positive approach, with resilience and empathy; a collaborative approach, working towards the needs of our choir members; the ability to handle sensitive data, with data analysis experience; team working and multitasking skills; good organisational skills, with attention to detail; ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines; an awareness of the importance of diversity and inclusion is also key to the role.
