You will be responsible for providing a clear perspective of the current and future financial position of the charity; and for developing, maintaining and managing the finance processes. You will manage the finance team and the charity’s financial systems and processes. The role reports to the CEO and is a member of the senior management responsible for compiling management accounts and advising the senior management team of the health of the Charity.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Finance team and the Charities financial transactions and procedures.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide financial expertise to the Board and CEO, through the timely management, preparation and interpretation of accounts, budgets and projections. You will have a high level of IT skills, excellent organisational skills, the ability to work independently and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks. You will have prior experience of working in a senior financial role, be confident dealing with stakeholders and have an appropriate understanding of Charity and Fundraising regulations.

You will be a qualified accountant and have a minimum of 3 years commercial or charity experience, post qualification with good knowledge of GAAP, VAT and PAYE with experience of working in a multi-disciplined environment be a strong communicator and have excellent attention to detail.
