Read moreA new evaluation of the Ministry of Defence’s (MOD) Spouse Employment Support (SES) Trial has shown the advantages of supporting spouses of Service personnel. The evaluation, funded by Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT), and conducted by Anglia Ruskin University, reviewed how spouses progressed when given specific support to improve their chances of employment.

When negotiating a salary you must manage your expectations. If you successfully apply for a job with a set salary, then you already tacitly accepted the fixed amount, which makes negotiating for a higher salary difficult. However, if the role was advertised with a salary bandwidth, then obviously you want to earn towards the higher end of that bracket.
Read moreX-Forces Enterprise was honoured to be alongside The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS), The British Army and the Ministry of Defence (MOD) for a special Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Careers Showcase, which took place on Thursday 24th May 2018 at The RMAS. In attendance was the Rt. Hon Tobias Ellwood, Minister for Defence, People and Veterans; Brigadier Bill Wright, Commander and Lt. Col Deborah Taylor who was instrumental in organizing the event.
The Showcase event was a fantastic opportunity for girls from schools across the UK to see a wide range of STEM educational pathways and future employers.
