The almshouse facilities are not suitable for residents with a severe disability due to the design and construction of the buildings, which consists of a community of six cottage homes in Hornchurch, Essex.

If you know someone who is an ex-RN or RM rating, including reservists, or their widows, then ask them to get in touch with SSAFA who will arrange a home visit and make a recommendation for funding to RNBT.

Friends and family launched an appeal to raise funds so that Rose could be treated in Thailand. Rose spent 5 and half months in Bangkok Hospital, where she began to recover, but sadly there were no funds left to bring Rose back to the UK.
