Read more(Andover, 8 June 2017) Owned and managed by Waitrose, the Longstock Park Water Garden near Andover in Hampshire is one of the finest water gardens in the world. It opens its gates to the public on selected dates in support of a nominated charity. We are very grateful to John Lewis Partnership to have chosen DMWS as the selected charity last Sunday.
With the garden attracting visitors from near and far, it provided a perfect opportunity to promote the Charity’s work to a wider audience.
Read moreLocal military charity, The Queen Alexandra Hospital Home (QAHH), is celebrating its sixth year of support from BAE Systems. The company recently donated £10,000 to the Worthing-based charity, which cares for physically disabled ex-Servicemen and women.
The generous donation from BAE Systems in Rochester – which designs, develops and produces some of the world’s most advanced avionics equipment – will go to fund QAHH’s rehabilitation services at their facility on Boundary Road.
Read moreWe approached Robert Ross to design the garden and partnered with CWGC and the Wilfred Owen Association to create a garden called ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF REMEMBRANCE. It commemorated the centenary of Wilfred Owen’s time in Edinburgh and of the CWGC.
The garden won the Peoples’ Choice Award as well as a Silver Award. It was created by veterans with PTSD from Glen Art working with the gardening team from the CWGC.

The 90-strong team of wounded, injured and sick (WIS) serving military personnel and veterans came together for the first time since selection at the Tower of London. Prince Harry met the team ahead of the forthcoming Invictus Games in September, and posed for the first official team photograph.
