The Future Accommodation Model (FAM) survey results have now been published. These will be used as part of the on-going policy development for the FAM, which will combine the survey with other results (e.g. the single Service Families Federations’ surveys) and Focus Group findings to refine the accommodation offer based on your feedback.

The Defence Medical Welfare Service (DMWS) is excited to announce the official launch of a Police Medical Welfare Support Service, available to Police Officers, staff or family members of Hampshire Constabulary. The Royal Air Forces Association has donated three laptops to the RAF Widows Association, which will allow the organisation to keep in better touch with members, while ensuring their personal data is kept securely.

Wounded veterans are being trained in stage craft and story-telling in a unique scheme to inspire schoolchildren across the UK

The former service personnel, many who lost limbs in the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts, refined their public speaking skills with the help of leading theatre professionals.

They were taught delivery techniques and got to rehearse at the prestigious Theatre Royal Haymarket, London, to give added impact to their personal stories of trauma and redemption.
