We are delighted to announce television personality and military supporter Carol Vorderman MBE and former Royal Marine LCpl John-James “JJ” Chalmers will be presenting the 2019 Soldiering On Awards ceremony on 5th April.

The Defence Inclusivity Award is a new Award category this year, and has been introduced to recognise the commitment of individuals and organisations in achieving greater diversity and inclusion throughout the Armed Forces community.

This Award recognises a person or group that has provided a significant contribution in support of the Armed Forces Community. The category comprises a group of Finalists representing the whole Community, and the Winner will be selected by the public vote.

Forces in Mind Trust has generously sponsored the Soldiering On FiMT Working Together Award for four years, recognising people, teams and organisations that have demonstrated an enduring commitment and collaborative approach to supporting the sector within the wider community.

Everyone has been overwhelmed by the outstanding achievements of all the 2019 Finalists! Over the coming weeks SOA will share information about finalists in each category, beginning with those nominated and shortlisted for the Healthcare and Rehabilitation Award
