It aims to help those on the course move into sustained employment, by giving them the enhanced CV and interview skills needed for finding work. Everyone who attends a course will receive six months of remote ‘reachback’ to help them in their search for employment.Read more
Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) is seeking veterans who suffer from a disability, illness or injury for their brand new specialised apartments which are due to be completed in spring 2017.
The apartments, situated on Hermitage Lane near Maidstone, just outside the Royal British Legion Village, will be individually adapted for ex-service personnel who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or have specific requirements due to health issues. As the construction nears completion, RBLI is looking to find Veterans who can make the apartments their home.Read more

It is available to any Veteran, of any rank and from any background, regardless of how long ago they served. Finchale welcomes its first cohort of veterans this week, who will be taking advantage of its vast accommodation, catering and transport facilities as part of a wider “Combat to Construction” project that will see 180 individuals supported throughout 2017.

The Army Families Federation (AFF) is proud to announce its latest initiative in support of spousal employment, in partnership with workforce experts Manpower.
The military charity is bringing Army families accessible employability advice and support at a local level with the help of Manpower. Sessions will take place every other Thursday at the Beeches Centre in Bulford, Salisbury, from the 9 February, and will be held during the regular coffee mornings at the centre, which will continue as normal. AFF is keen to make these sessions as inclusive and family friendly as they can and are encouraging those attending to bring their children with them.Read more
