The Royal British Legion’s recovery through the arts initiative, Bravo 22 Company, is delivered in partnership with The Drive Project and in collaboration with Newcastle Theatre Royal to put on a production on Remembrance Sunday.
Bravo 22 uses theatre and sculpture to help the Armed Force Community during recovery.

Veterans Outreach Support (VOS) is a community-based group of volunteers that provide on the spot welfare, peer mentoring and mental health support to ex-service personnel from all three services and the merchant marine and their families. VOS has been honoured with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service for 2017, the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK.

Champions from Local Authorities, NHS Scotland, Police Scotland, the Department of Work and Pensions, the Scottish Prison Service and Skills Development Scotland are attending, as well as representatives from many of the ex-Service and other charities. It is expected that in the region of 150 people will attend this third Annual Gathering.
The Scottish Government’s Veterans Secretary, Mr Keith Brown MSP, will present the keynote speech and will be followed by Maj Gen Bob Bruce, General Officer Scotland, who will provide an overview of the Armed Forces laydown in Scotland.
