The ‘Carols at Christmas’ concert, taking place in St Mary’s Church, Twickenham, will be hosted by Jazz FM & BBC Radio’s Jamie Crick.
The evening will also include readings from Poppy Factory clients and supporters and will be followed by a festive reception of wine and mince pies.

After last year’s huge success, they were privileged to yet again host a BIG SLEEP at the iconic venue. In the grounds of arguably the most famous prehistoric monument on the planet. Over 100 people from the local military community slept out, over night at the Stonehenge visitor centre on Friday 13th October.
Those sleeping out were from local Armed Forces camps, employees and families of Sodexo Defence and other defence contractors.

To mark its 40th anniversary, British couturier Catherine Walker & Co is holding an invitation-only exhibition at Spencer House to raise money for two charities, SSAFA and Brendoncare, supported by St James’s Place Wealth Management, held from the 16th to the 18th October, 2017.
Personally curated by Co-Founder and Head of Design Said Cyrus, exhibits will comprise archive pieces worn by Catherine Walker & Co’s most famous clientele, accompanied by their handwritten notes and original drawings.

Blind Veterans UK, the charity for blind and vision-impaired ex-Service men and women, will be hosting a fully interactive theatre experience within the grounds of its training and rehabilitation centre in Llandudno.
Following on from the success of last year’s ‘Trapped’ and 2015’s ‘Into the Woods’, the third instalment promises to be every bit as chilling. A variety of horrors will be awaiting participants during a 40 minute experience, a theatrical performance written and performed by A Play Fitted Theatre Company, which will play out like a live horror film.

Victoria Beech, Regional Fundraiser for Blind Veterans UK, says: “Chateau Rhianfa is as close to a magical fairy-tale castle as you can get. It’s the perfect place to visit to get in the mood for Christmas.”

The ride, which took place on Sunday 17th March 2017, saw approximately 25,000 people lining the beautiful cobbled Edinburgh streets to witness over 280 horses traversing the Royal Mile.
Steeped in history, the yearly ride is a spectacular re-enactment of the return of the Captain of the Trained Band to Edinburgh, following the tragic news of defeat at the battle of Flodden in 1513.
