PM awards outstanding British Forces child bereavement charity founder

The Prime Minister has recognised Nikki Scott, from King’s Lynn, Norfolk, for supporting bereaved British Armed Forces children.

Nikki is the founder f ‘Scotty’s Little Soldiers’, the UK’s leading charity for bereaved British Forces children. Nikki set up the charity after her husband and father to her two children, Corporal Lee Scott, died in Afghanistan in 2009. The charity reaches more than 360 children of Army, Navy and RAF personnel with its ‘smiles’, ‘support’ and ‘strides’ programmes, providing fun activities, counselling and personal development grants.

Eventmasters becomes a Scotty’s Business Hero to bereaved Armed Forces children

National corporate hospitality and events company Eventmasters is marching in time with Scotty’s Little Soldiers.

The company, with offices in both Birmingham and London, is set to help raise vital funds for the children’s Armed Forces charity.

Eventmasters managing director Denise Sheasby, said the business was thrilled to become one of the founder and primary members of newly-created Scotty’s Business Heroes arm.
