A musical with a difference!

A musical is coming to Worthing and entertainment doesn’t get bigger than this. ‘The Grand Rehearsal’ promises to be big fun with music and dancing, where the audience is part of the show – a bit of drama, sing-alongs, dancing and great audience participation!
The show, which will be fun for all the family, will be on at the Emmanuel United Reformed Church, St Michael’s Road, Worthing, on Thursday 22 March at 7.15pm, and then Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 March at 4.00pm.

There But Not There commemorative campaign is launched to mark 100 years since the end of WWI.

Ghostly figures of First World War soldiers or ‘Tommies’, have sprung up all over the UK today, as part of a new fundraising campaign led by former Chief of the General Staff, General The Lord Dannatt and supported by Birdsong novelist, Sebastian Faulks.

Hoping to raise in excess of £15 million for armed forces and mental health charities, including Walking With The Wounded, the six foot high Tommies are part of a nationwide art installation called ‘There But Not There’. The campaign marks 100 years since the end of the First World War and aims to commemorate all those who lost their lives.

HRH The Duke of Kent visits the Centre for Veterans’ Health, King Edward VII’s Hospital 

His Royal Highness, The Duke of Kent visited the recently opened Centre for Veterans’ Health at King Edward VII’s Hospital.

He was able to talk to the veterans taking part in the Pain Management Programme, meet the clinicians who run the Programme, the administrative team, and the researchers.

The NFA is the Official Charity Partner of the Ideal Home Show

The Not Forgotten Association is thrilled to announce that they will be collaborating with The Ideal Home Show as their Official Charity Partner at Olympia, London between 17th March and 2nd April.

Our volunteers will be on duty throughout the show, full of information about those they help and all the events and activities we offer. We will also have a stall, manned by their fantastic team, ready to greet you throughout the show and there will be plenty of opportunity to meet some of those we support.

27 beneficiaries are hitting the slopes in Breckenridge, Colorado

From 21st February – 2nd March and 3rd – 11th March, a total of 27 beneficiaries – hailing from 16 difference units of the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force – will be skiing in Breckenridge, Colorado. Split into two groups, week one will include Hari Budha Magar, a former Gurkha who is attempting to become the first above-knee, double amputee to summit Mt Everest. It will also include two sets of twins; two sisters from the Royal Artillery and two brothers from the RAF Regiment and Royal Marines.
